Here's a great article!
As many know I mostly use plastic with great results.

I gotta try and stick to the plastics. I got a boat load of them and yet everytime I go to Kip I buy a bucket of worms, lol. Ya gotta love it.
I just gotta change my mind set.Up until I got my camp I was strictly a troller. I never thought I would ever jig. Now it's 50-50. I'm a little thick however some stuff does seep in. Plastics will as well one day.

Last summer, I enjoyed some success vertically jigging with AuthentX Pulse-R plastics - see  http://customjigs.com/bfishn-tackle/soft-plastics/
Although I didn't try, I'm sure they would work horizontally jigging as well.
