[DISCLAIMER: I did not create this thread to promote an outfitter. I was merely looking for a one stop shop for as many fishing trip reports from as many forums as I could gather...
Please do not blame me if you have been going to an outfitter and love it but do not see trip reports for it listed in this index.
This post is simply about indexing trip reports that have already been posted on fishing forums by their respective members...

For a map that shows where all the below outfitters are located with respect to one another, click here

Without further delay, in alphabetical order...

If you find one I've missed or incorrectly categorized, which is likely, please reply to this thread with the link/edits and I'll be happy to edit this post so this first entry is kept up to date as the master index.

When posting 2014 and later trip reports on this forum please list the Outfitter, Date and the words "Trip Report" in your topic title... For Example "Cedar Valley Lodge, 16-23 May 2014 Trip Report" this will prevent the "unknown outfitter" category from growing if I'm unable to decipher where or when you went on your trip.

I will update this first thread once a year hopefully in the fall so winter reading and reliving of trips is easier for everyone

Tight Lines and happy reading...

Nate, thank you for bringing the trip report thread over to this board.  One of the bad things about the new board is the loss of the "history" on the other site.  This thread will help alot.  Thanks again.  We will make it a stickey so it stays at the top.
Smile, every one will wonder what you have been up to.

RHYBAK

Hmmmm.

Just tried it and it piggy backs over to the .net site to view each thread.
Is that O.K. ??????

As long as the .net administrator/web owner doesn't mind and
as long as that site stays up; I do not see a problem keeping the history this way.

There is no alternative, it has to be ok. What SgtCrabby said.

I don't need permission from the kipawa.net administrator to share links from that forum on this forum. He doesn't own the information, it's not his intellectual property or trademarks or copyrights on the trip reports. It's simply information shared by members of that forum and so therefore it's free to share here. If it weren't ok, every single forum on the internet would get shutdown as crosslinking happens on every single forum. It is not an issue. The internet is a free and open space to share information and that's what forums are for...

If the old forum gets taken offline, I'll delete the links as they go dead. Going forward I'll add trip reports as they get posted to this forum so I feel this creates a good legacy of the forums on this and trips to this region.

This is my opinion. I also run some Amazon affiliate sites. When one site sends traffic your way it only benefits you in the eyes of the search engines. If I was running this forum to make money, no I wouldn't have appreciated that many links to another site. But this was started as a service for the people who love Kipawa fishing. There is no way to get in touch with the other moderator and get a response unless one of the mods from the other board can do that. It is actually only benefiting him. If he has a problem with it, yes I will take it down, no problem. But until I hear differently all is good with me. I agree with Dog.

SgtCrabby

I have no idea on who all the party's are (administrators/web masters/owners);
but the .net site does have a link to the previous .com site.

My understanding is that the webmaster is the same for both of the other Kipawa sites( .net and the older one).

As for the present webmaster at .net, three present Moderators( myself included) have tried numerous times in the past few months to get in contact with him regarding the P.M. feature with no success.
We have no idea where he is.

Thanks Dog, I was going to copy all my trip reports tonight and bring them over also just so there is a little of the older history here...

Brad, I added one of the 2013 trip reports over here from the other forum simply as a test run for the upcoming 2014 season.... with the help of the admin, we're good to go for the upcoming season of trip reports. -Nate

Ready to start indexing 2015 trip reports as they get posted...

Since the old forum now looks officially offline, no trip report links prior to 2014 will likely from this index.
I'll hold out until 2016 before removing the pre-2014 trip reports that link to the old forum.
