Alwaki Trip June 18-25

Trip to Alwaki was a great week. We had 4 guys this year. First time to Alwaki. Thanks to Brian, Tina and Roy for a great week. Fishing was on fire all week. Mornings, mid-day and evenings. 23FOW seemed to be best. Shoals were big producers. Jigs off of bottom with worms or leeches. Many caught between 11 and 14 inches. Good amount between 15 and 17. Largest 30 inches and 9lbs. Look forward to next trip.

Sounds like a typical Alwaki Lodge trip; get hosts, awesome fishing, fun time had by all. When you heading back?

We're heading up 3 weeks from Friday....can't wait....

Won't be heading back until 2 years - 2018. We head north every other year. Too many irons in fire for every year. We are planning to head back to Alwaki though. Have a great week T-bone.
