Heading up for opening weekend, just wondering what impact you all think that all this rain will have on the fishing? Fish likely moving from their spawn areas sooner then in the past?

Agreed with Rhybak.

I would concentrate a little deeper than you normally would.

The vast majority of fish caught in less than 10ft of water...most around 6ft. This translates to 500 +\- fish in a group of 8. Most are smallish fish, but many 2 to 4 lb range. Caught on jig and worm or trolling.

RHYBAK is right on with my experiences in Kipawa waters.

In my home waters, it would make a big difference.  But that's a long ways away.

Was up to camp (jawbone bay) third week in june, been a while but trolling rapalas in 10 foot deep and as shallow as 3 worked in the back of moose bay.About 50% keepers but only kept 2 for trip back to Buffalo area. Also caught 4 Lake trout all under 26" and while working on bait casting skills off dock caught 11lb+ Northern Pike that was released because as a general rule I don't keep Pike off of dock or shoot deer on my property. Great trip!
