Walked over to the pond behind our house for the first time a couple weekends ago.
Wifey caught 1, I caught two lil guys.. felt good to feel something on the end of the line, was about to lose my $hit cause it was getting so long since I felt fish (Lake O last year)...

Also went out with @SgtCrabby on RnR to Denton creek a month or so ago and got skunked. was real nice to get out on the water....

lastly, a picture that never, ever, gets old

That looks like a chunky little guy.  Sometimes size doesn't matter.

That day we were out in RnR;  the weather was cold, cloudy, and very windy.  We fished where we could find wind shelter more than fishy habitat.  We did "almost" catch a catfish, but it spit the hook right alongside.

We will get you out again on the water someday.

Hey Dog-Have you ever been to a bar and ordered an Ovechkin?

@limacharley , OK, I'll bite; what kind of drink is an Ovechkin?

@Fort Wisers thank you.. been a long time. Stupid busy in the new job and not much time to do anything. I am really really really looking forward to getting off the grid this year, more than the fishing actually. 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep will be a welcome change of pace.
