Finally an Ogascanan trip report - great job thanks.  Been watching this forum for quite some time now.  Headed up there last week of July.  How were the bugs?  Did you troll for lake trout?

Bugs on land were pretty heavy...bugs on the water no problem.

No trolling for lake trout...we jigged the entire time for walleye.

@Chazz , you're going to a great place. Those of us that keep going back there all agree on it. 
There's a good chance you'll get to meet John and Nancy, they're good people.  Have a good chat with them, they are lake veterans.  @morganjp; sounds like you've already met our site administers. 

Dog;  your duties next month is to hold the bow of the boat down while your cousin fishes.  And to net his fish. Other than that, it's RnR time.
