Bass parasites

@600 miles north...personally I would say not to release. However, I don't know what the regulations are and Quebec tends to be somewhat touchy about those sorts of things.  So, unless you KNOW otherwise play it safe and return the fish.

There have been at least some bass in the lake for quite a while. Capt. Guy and I caught one about 10 years ago. On our last year's mid July and late August trips we didn't catch any, which was fine with us. Oarin.

I would be interested in more information regarding this supposed parasite . I would like to believe that cooking fish at a sufficient temperature would kill such beasties.

Thanks Jay, as usual you found the info on the subject. As for me, if I found any of those problems on a fish I don't think I would eat it!!  4 more days!!!!!!!!!!! Oarin.
