We are pleased to announce the photos chosen for our 2021 calendar. Thank you to every one who submitted photos. For those wondering why your photo wasn't chosen please know that it was very difficult to choose as we had many excellent submissions. In some cases photos were not usable as they were in the improper format (portrait) or shape, the quality might not have been high enough and they would have looked pixelated when printed, or in some cases we just had so many submissions of the same type of photo (eg. sunsets) or too many photos to choose from. We will still feature your photo on our social media page and thank you for sharing it with us!

January - White Pine River by Keith Benard
February - Lac aux brochets by Jake Landry
March - Lynx swimming by Annie Faubert
April - Hunter Lake by Faye Podsadecki
May - Black Bear cubs by Ruth Zook
June - Kipawa sunrise by Keith Benard
July - Merlin Falcon by Viviane Bourdon
August - Jawbone's Bay by Denise Lebel
September - Kipawa sunrise by Pauline Gagne

As a reminder all proceeds from calendar sales allow the Kipawa Lake Preservation Society to continue operating. We receive no operational funding from the government. We have worked to protect the Kipawa area from harmful development and we have over the past few years really expanded water quality monitoring throughout the watershed - it was virtually non-existent prior to the work our organization and volunteers have undertaken. Water quality results can be viewed via water rangers https://app.waterrangers.ca/groups/kipawa-lake-preservation-society 2020 results are still being input. We also conducted some in depth sampling for metals, phosophorus, bacteria etc. in several lake areas in 2018 - partial results are available via water rangers. Full results will be released in a written report - it is in the works.

Your support via our calendar fundraiser is appreciated.

Great news Christina, I'll be ordering up 5 to two different addresses. Can't think of a better cause to support.

You should receive them in time, unless there is a massive delay from Canada Post. At this point all orders have been shipped out.

So...is there a common order/ship/delivery timeline for these? It's been almost three weeks and nothing received on this end yet. Thanks.
