Just a short report on 2023 trip II .
We arrived on Friday after spending the night in Temiscaming, being the only people at the Au Bercail. After getting settled in and relaxing a bit we had an early dinner and went to test the information Norm gave us... The fish were being caught in the bays, which is a bit strange for this time of year. Sure enough we had a really good night with several nice keeper walleyes and 4 nice pike. The rest of the week produced really great fishing, especially for when you dont have those post spawn frenzies that you can encounter in the spring. We caught all sizes at depths between 10 and 30 feet . We did have a couple days slower than  the others and a couple afternoons we just couldnt fish in the heat but, otherwise , the fishing was steady. I am amazed that there are so few people that take advantage of the fall fishing but dont mind having the lake to ourselves. The camp was in excellent shape , as were the boat and motor. Norm and Chantell have worked hard to upgrade cabins and equipment . Now just the long wait til next June.
So many lures and so little time.

Sam, the fall has been my favorite time to be there. Your trip sounds similar to our. Glad you had a good one.
