Guys,
Own a place in Mugo Bay (west end of the lake) and going to Kipawa for a quite a few years but have never tried the slip bobber technique.
Time of day? Depth? Time of year?
Assume small hook and a leech works well?
If anyone is around that area (main landing in Mungo Bay 33 mile marker) feel free to stop in for Beer. Yellow camp right on the point.

In June I normally fish the bait at seven feet below the bobber.
Hi Crackers, I use a slip bobber for most of my fishing. I've used it in June- Sept. Doesn't matter. We've fished them from 3-30 feet. That's the beauty of slip bobbers, they can be set to fish any depth. We always use leeches. My son uses an eight-quarter ounce jig and I use a red hook with a leech. I'm. A horrible jigger and the slip bobber evens the playing field for me. If I jig, I'm basically feeding the fish!
