Title: Lake Erie walleye charters
Post by: Oarin on July 13, 2020, 02:38:16 PM
It doesn't look very promising for our Kipawa trip this year. The trip was my son,Jon's birthday present, so I'm wondering if any of you have taken a walleye charter out of N.Y. or close to the border in PA. you can recommend? It's a real bummer that the border is closed. This would have been my 30th year to Quebec. I hope the outfitters can make through the year. It has to be extremely tough for them.

Hey Oarin, where is it that you would prefer to be for your Charter? I live South of ERie. I can look around if that is an area of interest?

We have thought about maybe going to Ohio, lots of Erie charters there. Me and my fishing crew range from 68 to 72 years old so on one hand hate to miss a year but also don't want too many Corona risks.

Hi Hodgey, I'll be coming from the Rochester, N.Y. area. I guess anywhere close to Erie, PA. or north would be good, but if you hear of a good one a little farther it might work too. Thanks.

Oarin, the Erie PA area is loaded with Charter boats, there is even a large party boat that goes out daily that requires no reservation, just a walk on for half days on the lake. Let me do a little digging and see what I can find.
