Well...spoke with Brian at Alwaki Lodge this morning and the July 31st trip is officially off. Now all we have to do is wait until September 24...plan to stay until October 1st.
So...there you go...

At least you get a shot and I really hope you get a chance to go. Things should be fine then. Life has thrown me a curve ball and with my ailment I am lucky to walk the dog. Can't do much else throughout the day.
That is late in the year, I'm not a walleye guy but my friend fishes walleye almost exclusively and he always took vacation that time of year to fish walleye. It is a screwball year. Perhaps something else to consider is looking for an establishment up Wawa way. I looked in that area myself and can tell you what I found.
I'd be happy right now to be able to walk to our creek and fish it!
I hope you and Mattie get to go. Let's hope the up tick in cases in the U.S. doesn't mess it up. I'm keeping positive thoughts for my trip.
September it is!
It is looking very favorable for a border crossing to occur. My wife and I are scheduled to be at Alwaki Sept 3-10. We are both reservedly excited.
Looking forward to being able to make our trip in September. Hoping all things go well with the border security agents contract negotiations and a strike doesn't further disrupt anyone's plans.
What about the U.S. border still being closed? Can you return to U.S. from Canada? Just something to think about? Never Mind see Coming back from Kipawa thread.
