I've been following a walleyecentral.com thread on border crossing wait times. 4 to 6 hour waits apparently not uncommon. Be prepared.

You can check on wait times here - Niagara region crosdings look like 2 to 5 minutes

I usually shoot for Midnight to cross the Peace.
If everything goes smooth this week, planning to get there in ballpark of 10:00 PM Friday. May cost myself some border time due to more traffic….may not. Best case scenario, they’re a little more dialed in by end of week and I get a couple hour nap in at some point on the Canadian side.

Thanks for the update Chazz. The walleyecentral.com thread I was following pertained mainly to crossing at International Falls.

No problem Jay. We're headed up this Saturday or Sunday and when I seen 4 to 6 hours thought this is going to be one long trip. I was fortunate enough to be able to cross the border a month ago with my wife who is a Canadian citizen and get up to our cottage. Took over an hour and a half at the border. Had to take a covid test there and they gave me another one to take 8 days later. Had to quarantine for 14 days.
I just looked at the wait time for the bridges near Niagara Falls and they all seemed normal to light wait times right now at 5:00 pm. Hopefully that will be the case for me in 3 weeks, or at least still open.
