Title: Trolling suggestions for late August
Post by: AV41Medic on August 16, 2021, 12:01:25 AM
Hey all, the wife and I will be fishing from Jawbone in Lake Kipawa at the end of August. We prefer to troll for the eyes. We realize they might be deeper then as they were last year. Any tips, rigs, locations would be appreciated. Thanks all

Hey Luc, what were you using?

7 inch Shad Rap-Perch color and 6 inch Wally Diver-Silver and black.
I stayed closer to the 20 feet as these cranks dive deep but would hit a shoal and just lift my rods up to get over the hump then back down.
I prefer trolling but my wife and nephew says it's boring.

So we anchored just off a shoal and I didn't bother baiting my line.
Between the 2 of them, I'm either baiting, netting, measuring, re baiting etc. No time to fish myself.
Oh....and I get to clean em too.

Wouldn't have it any other way.

That's nice! Creating some memories for your nephew.
