I ran across this cooler and thought it would be very cool to have for the boat or home. Although a bit pricy, if it gets funded I might at least think about it. What do you all think?

@600 miles north Brad for me it's a non-starter as it doesn't have a humidor for cigars. I mean if we're gonna do this... let's go big or go home! haha... j/k... I can just imagine that thing on your boat!
Just one ? ;) ;)
What was he thinking?????
No built in solar panel to keep it fully charged at all times????
a little on the small side for most of us.
He might as well have added an ice maker so you never run out of ice.
I'm not sure how much that thing costs (probably a few hundo, at least), but I would guess the reliability of a cooler that is packed with electronics and is used primarily in a boat has an average mean time to failure of about 2-days. The inventive thinking is impressive though.
If I'm spending big bucks on a cooler, I'm going with a Yeti or similar product. I want a cooler to keep things cold, not be the life of the party.

180 bucks you Party pooper
Sounss lime just the ticket for me. After cleaning up the clutter in my boat...this will be just the thing I need to start a new clutter. Can I plug it into the 12v outlet to keep my ber cold? Or should i use the blender to make margharita's all day?.....decisions decisions...what to do?
Interesting ideas, but if you just want to keep your beer and food cold Rambler and Ellen have the best. Not sure what it's called, but it has recessed areas to hold ice packs all over.
I'll stick with my 6 day ice cooler. Works great for beer and is long enough to hold a nice Laker. We keep a small version in the boat for refreshments. KISS applies here for me. Too many things to break on that thing after bouncing around on the road in.

Then add the accessories...
And if I've never been accused of being something, that would be a party pooper. Full time, full on...I like to play hard, work hard, and sleep hard.
Someday the FTFO is going to catch-up with me. :P
LOL! I wanted to see the reaction you guys had to that cooler. All the things you were talking about were what I was thinking, cool idea. Sounds like a nightmare with all those electronics. For a party around the house would be kinda neat, but I have all the electronics and blenders already. Still would be a conversation piece. Not sure Kipawa is the place for such a thing... maybe the beach... now that might be a cool place for it!
I will be sitting on Kipawa a week from right now. We all know that good feeling... Now I need to get ready for it so we can leave when I want too! I will be back here even faster, we all know how that goes!
Cheers!
Brad
On the boat we either run a Yeti or Engel cooler. Both have been great.
I heard a news report on the Coolest yesterday. This guy has raised almost $5 Million since inception! I guess he sold a few more than he hoped!
Nothing starts the day off right like a frothy walleye smoothie!
Cheers, Kevin
