Title: What's with the wind
Post by: hinorth on August 02, 2022, 07:04:20 PM
Last summer was our first and I couldn't believe how nice the weather was.... this year what's with the wind? Is this normal and last year was just an exceptionally nice year?  Seems it's been windy since January.  Went across the lake at 5:00am this morning into Kipawa and it was a bit choppy to say the least.  Anyway, whatever it is, I still am having a blast.

Each year is a new adventure in terms of weather......
This year has been particularly windy though.

We were up on Watson last week (report to come when I've caught up with regular life things) and the winds were pretty strong most days. Usually I think a nice chop on the water is a good thing though.

It does seem to be windy this year which makes crossing the Bay challenging on those days with the strong N/ NW Winds.
For our location at camp, a South wind is the worst, it hits the dock on the side .. it was not fun trying to leave on Monday.
But if we don't have a bit of a breeze, it makes Sunnyside so darn hot
