Title: Out of the ordinary
Post by: bjb178 on March 03, 2024, 02:14:59 PM
My son and I have fished the Kipawa area for many years. On our trip in 2022 my son caught a walleye with a stringer clip in its jaw. After removing the clip, he released the walleye. image.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpg

HA! That's funny. I can admit to more than once when we were keeping a fish and it has either 'gotten off' of the stringer (clip not closed) or the clip completely broke off the stringer. That fish hardly looks big enough to be in the keeper size though.

Good work freeing the fish of that handicap and releasing to fight another day.

83 days until Trip #1!!!

I've never seen that before but have caught a few with a complete intact crankbait in it's mouth.
