FYI for anyone looking to travel, it looks like the Maniwaki road is currently washed out at about km 8, I'll post a pic when I get more time. Local information indicates the expected re-opening will not be until Friday or so......

I paid it and went thru. They basically made a ramp down and up driveable. I saw a car do it.
