Title: Best Catch / Memory Pics
Post by: Fort Wisers on July 29, 2025, 01:33:29 PM
You folks are right, things have gotten a little stale on KFF.....
So let's do something new, let's drag our lazy arses off the couch, dig out some pics from old trips and post here. Time to show off. Post up your favorite Kipawa Catch or Kipawa Memory pics.....

Good idea!

My biggest and my wife's biggest northerns, caught by accident while jigging walleye.  Mine was caught on an ultralight with 4-pound test line, hook and leach and hers was on 6-pound test line, hook and worm.

Also a yearly tradition we try do a couple times while there, dinner on picnic island.

Agreed, very nice pics @JigginFool
I'll throw some in myself...
After we sold our place on Kipawa but hadn't yet built in Mattawan I felt a little lost.
So we packed up the canoes and decided to check out Hunter's point.
Although my wife and kids had previous exposure to Kipawa from owning and from visiting family in the area, none of us had seen Hunter's but had heard many stories of the area and the old church.

And, on an unrelated trip to Miwapanee's old Grindstone camp, here's a pic of our oldest daughter's first pike catch. Not nearly as impressive as Jigginfools catches above but it was enough to make her day (and mine)....seems so long ago now:
