Yeah...if you go to the Navionics web site and click on the Web App link on the home page, you can see almost any lake's bathy measurements (in feet). Not sure what the copyright laws are on that, but if you did screen grabs I'd be sure you could make yourself a 'personal' map of the lake areas you visit most often. Not that I would do that or anything... :-X
I don't fully trust these maps. I checked Hunter's Lake for a couple of shoals I know exist and they aren't even indicated.
Your sonar is your trusted ally.
I have that app on my GPS/sonar unit and I agree with Limacharley I found rocks in what was supposed to be twentt foot dwpths. It is about 80% accurate tho. It's a helpful guide. Last year it helped me find my way from my camp to Kipawa....about an hour and a half drive. I'd never done the trip before. Finding my way home was easier...I just followed the trail on my map.
