Title: My Father

it is with great sadness to report that my father passed away yesterday after a short bout is pneumonia and heart failure.
He live a very long 92 years.
My teacher ,my fishing partner .
The day before he died he was telling me a story that he was pike fishing the day before and brought the pike to my house and we enjoyed a wonderful meal of fresh pike.
He passed away with wonderful thought going through his mind.

May he rest in peace.

Godspeed to you. Last month my first hero, mentor and fishing partner passed on at the age of 88. It sound like you are as fortunate as I am, being grateful is harder sometimes than others.

Sorry for your loss Rhybak.  You have my condolences from one fisherman to another.  The art of fishing is to be past down from generation to generation and I know you have made your father proud in all you have taught others.
