I see the Chapleau area of Ontario is locked-up already and has been for a few weeks; I believe smaller and shallower lakes over there compared to Kipawa. Any ice on Kipawa yet? Seems late, if not.
Hope everyone is well and enjoying the holiday season...

SOOOO TRUE!
I like ice in my drink!
But not to much on my lake though
Anyone have any information / insight on the lake ice conditions?
Tree line up (thinking of the Kipawa to Bronson line)? Is there even ice to hold the tree line?
What an odd winter!
On 26 Dec 2015, Reggie at 3 Seasons Camp put up a nice video on his facebook page - see https://www.facebook.com/camp3saisons
No snow and ice just starting to form. Thanks Reggie
Jay

Awesome link as always! Thanks
@RHYBAK !
Covered is great but more wondering if its crossable?
Looks like some cooler temps in the forecast, still warm for the season but cold enough to be making healthy ice!
The only ice I want to see is in my drink while in Cuba next week!!!
I will be full out ice fishing once I return.
The guys have gone to the island a couple times in the winter, not anymore as there's always a sled or two that won't start.

Lots of snow in the forecast as well!
I'm wondering. Just how much snow is on the ground around Kip? I was ice fishing near N.Bay (On Nosbonsing lake) There was only about 6 inches of snow on the ground. The ice was almost a foot thick. Amongst 6 guys we got only a couple of small perch. Oh well the beer and food was great. We were there 3 days last weekend.

Sounds like my ice fishing trip to Nosbonsing two seasons ago. Nice place, but we caught almost nothing in three days.
Heading to Nipissing on 23rd for a couple days on the ice since there isn't any good ice around here. Hope to catch a few, but if not at least I can get to go fishing!
Have fun Joe !!!
