Now that the store in Laniel isn't open, which is where I always got my fishing licence. Where do many of you get yours who get them in temiscaming? Do they have them available at the gas station? Can you get them on-line ahead of time. My problem is I am usually through there in the wee hours of the morning.
Brad
Hi Brad, the gas station across from the Auberge sells them. I don't know what their hours are. How about Chalet Diane?
Hi Brad:
We are going through this right now with some buddies coming up. From what I have found:
The gas station at the 4 way stop as u leave Temiscaming-across from the poutine place open roughly 7am to 9pm
The out door store beside the poutine place-not sure of hours
Went by Jacques house last weekend but he was not around. I will try and find out more
Update
I called up tonight and the store reopened today. I will have more info in a couple of days
Thanks for the update and help Riverrat! That is great to hear the store reopened! Any new information would be great!
Oarin that would be another idea, not sure if chalet Diane sells them or not?
Brad
Hi Brad,
It's my understanding that you CAN NOT buy your Quebec fishing licence online.
Jay
Chalet Diane does not have the licenses.
How about the little store in Fabre? Brad, when I'm up at Taggarts in 3 weeks I'll ask if they will do it. I know they sell them to their customers. After seeing what you built in your backyard I'm not sure I'd ever leave it! Get the pond stocked with walleyes and it would be perfect!
The little store in Fabre is closed. They tore down the gas station and are rebuilding a store and gas station. Its supposed to open the first week of July.
Update
The store opened yesterday for the season. They have fishing licenses and everything they had before. Friends of mine were there yesterday
That is great news! Thanks for keeping us up to date riverrat!
Brad

Kipawa bait shop is where we buy ours. We contact Corine ahead of time with our DOB and she has them ready when we get there.
I have been to the Kipawa Bait shop too and I like it. Its just a little out of the way if u are going to Laniel
