Post by: SgtCrabby on May 20, 2017, 01:37:20 PM
I just wanted to wish all our northern friends a good long weekend and Victoria Day.

Thanks SGT.

It was nice weather Friday going in.
Woke up Saturday to O° and frost on the dock. Brrrr. It eventually warmed up to 17°.
The walleye are still spawning. We only caught males full of cum in 30 FOW.
Rained all day Sunday....and I mean rain like the skies were crying.
Monday-cleared but the wind picked up and made it very rough.
Rough enough to rattle the chicklets.

Next week is the American long weekend right?
Man when I worked at the border, I hated working those long weekends.
Don't miss that at all.

Lima:
Yes sir, this is the Americans long weekend.
I hadn't thought of the added workload these long weekends do to y'all that worked on the border.
My apologies.
As a general rule, the Canadian agents are more polite, even when they tear your stuff apart searching for something (never found anything).

0 degrees is easy, I think 17c is  around 60f, which is a nice warmup.
Wind has been wicked here too.
