We usually bring up about 396 pounds of assorting meats for our trip from local butchers here in Ohio. This year we're thinking about foregoing the hassle of packing / dry ice / etc. and buying our meats in North Bay on Saturday morning before we "head in" to Kipawa.
Any suggestions / references / "go here-not there" for a good butcher or meat shop in North Bay? I see there are a few listed on the web, but I just wanted to see if anyone out here has a recommendation.
Thanks....

Good morning Todd:
Does part of that 396 pounds of assorted meats represent bait? ;)
16 more days until departure day!

I've heard good things about Bavarian Meats/Bay Meats; you might also want to check out Northern Meat Packers in Trout Creek (30 mins south of NB).
Unfortunately, Gravelle's meat market is closed.
have you tried GOOGLING butcher shops in North Bay?

Yup...says they're are 3 or so; all phone numbers get no answer.
I've learned through both personal and professional experience to really not put a whole lot of stock in stuff you find on the internet [no kidding...really???]...especially retail / store listings as those are often created via 3rd party...not the actual business themselves.
Nothing holds more value than a trusted reference/referral in almost every case...no matter what you're talking about.
C'mon Rhybak...quit busting my chops...or I'll drive up there and confiscate all your Kipawa gear... ;D
It wasn't meant as a chops busting question.
It was merely a question ;D
Lots of butcher shops in Barrie and Toronto and Vaughn and Woodbridge.
