The federal government wants to hear from all users of the Ottawa River Watershed - this is the entire watershed (including Kipawa and surrounding areas) not just the Ottawa River. Its easy to participate just follow this link and there is a survey as well as an area for comments https://www.placespeak.com/en/topic/5492-ottawa-river-watershed-study/#/overview Even if you just visit the area for vacation (and are not Canadian) I believe you can still participate. This is a great opportunity to express any concerns you may have re: development, forestry, mining, water quality, usage, fishing, etc. This can be done on an individual basis.
I was going to participate but omg, they just about want your bank account number. Do they really need your street address and house number, I think not, so I backed out.
The address isn't made public, I think its to communicate with you. However, if you aren't comfortable with that there are other ways to participate without creating a PlaceSpeak account. Please visit

You can simply email your concerns, etc.
