Two questions about Laniel this summer. We have a an island campsite mid lake and love the site. Last summer we were able to buy gas in Laniel but the store was for sale. Has it sold? Is there still a place in Laniel to buy gas?
2nd question -- I'm looking for a place to store a 14' v-bottom boat. Last few years I have flipped it over and brought it back home on top of my 16' boat but w/o help when I close camp this summer I'm looking for a place to leave it until I return in October. I teach school in Indiana and we come up for 3-4 weeks every summer and again for a week in the fall and would be happy to pay for the right to keep our second boat safe and sound flipped over somewhere when we aren't up.

I can tell you that the gas station is closed (as of the long weekend in May) and the dump is open on Sat morning from 9-11am
You will need to bring extra fuel from Letang
Closest gas is in Fabre. It north of Laniel
