I agree  .A great debt is owed to Vets and active service members on both sides of the border and throughout the world

I am curious how many vets we have here on both sides of the border. I would like it if you would make yourself known. Yes, thank you @CaptainCrappie Crappie.

John was US Air Force, Viet Nam, 2 tours.

Thanks Nancy!  I am a proud US Navy Vet. Enlisted Sept. 9, 1965.  Before Electrician's Mate School, I was assigned to two carriers.  The Independence CVA 62 for 6 months and then The Forrestal CVA 59 for 4 more months.. At Electrician School The Navy was asking for volunteers for sub duty for all those with grade point averages over 90.  I was one and attended Sub School at New London Conn.  After graduation I served aboard the Sabalo SS 302.  It was a conventional diesel powered boat that was commissioned near the end of World War II and was based at San Diego at Ballast Point.  Nothing like Sub duty!  Anchors Aweigh!

Apparently I was known as the General

Titles can be a bit misleading but, Oh Yeah!  Rhybak was born to be "The General."  He reeks of being "The General."  He can bark out orders with the best. Men and most wild dogs fear him.  His trusty sidekick Steve will always be "The Colonel" and his other sidekick Yuriy will always be a "Private."  Yuriy can be a bit silly...  He claims the "P" fell off his t shirt so now he's known as "Rivet Yuriy."   Also, Jay is "The Admiral" and is master of his domain as well as others. Son Brian is "Chief Cook and Bottle Washer" and "Commander Bluegill" roams all waters in search of the big one. He's running out of waters though. I've been known as "The Captain", "Crappie de Capitain" and of course "Captain Crappie."  Forget that I once was known as "Lard Ass." I'm trying to convince my wife to call me "King Bob."  So far that is not happening but a guy can always hope.
