hello everyone! I'm visiting family who have a cottage on Hunter lake near trout bay. I mostly target walleye but will try for other species as well. Any tips for tackle or spots that are good? Any dangerous spots where I could damage the boat prop? Thanks in advance.
The only spots up that was that I have noticed and I don't go that far to often is the narrows right before entering hunters lake and if you decide to take a tour up through turtle dam. Lake trout can be caught in lac hunter, I usually fish them out in front of trout bay up to the island. If you have a GPS on your boat they are extremely accurate for depths. Good luck and enjoy.
