Well, they're calling it 'the Kipawa Road', but I don't recall any part of the actual Kipawa Road being unpaved like the road is in the picture.

That bridge is a new bridge that was built last year in the new Opemican Park.  It's located in the Laniel area, on the left side of hwy 101 when you're heading towards Laniel.

Perhaps the bridge was re-decked for the opening of the park but the bridge itself is older than that.
In a photo in the link above you can see the "VIVE LA KIPAWA LIBRE" ("long live the free Kipawa") message on the steel girder.

The bridge and message on it was a long standing landmark of the fight between industrial development and preservation in the area.
It's a shame to see this piece of history washed away.....
Wonder how the Sorensen homestead is doing down there?
