Under the General Discussion Category, it describes acceptable content to include the following:

"We welcome discussion on fishing in the Kipawa area, tips, trip reports, and feel free to ask your fishing related questions here."

My question to moderators: Is it ok to discuss non fishing/non Kipawa related topics?

I'm not a Moderator but I would say WHY NOT.

It is titled general Discussion.

As long as the title describes the topic , why not.

I will change the description for the general discussion category. It might be a good idea to either put in the title or first line. NF related or Non-fishing related.

I certainly hope so otherwise I should have been kicked off the forum a while ago.
My topics have included many trip reports from our cabin NOT on Kipawa as well as a KM log for our truck lol.

I've submitted a fishing report from Texas several years ago.  That is way outside of the area.
We've had discussions on canoe modifing/customizing too.
