We stay at Alwaki for our trips, but I believe Brian is closed at for this weekend. Can anybody suggest a camp that stays open for this weekend?

Too bad no outfitters up there offer a fall bear hunt along with the fishing package. That would be a great combo, at least for Canadian residents.

Tried Taggart Bay but they are open but only for Hunting and people that just want to rent the cottage. They don't want the boat traffic to "spook" the moose and I suspect it's a bit of a safety issue.

Cottages look very nice though.

I think we'll be hitting Nippissing for catch and release, since the limits are so low on that lake.

I will be on the ottawa river all weekend starting this Saturday morning.  I filled the boat up today and minnows are in the garage.

@Ozzy30... I will also be on the Ottawa both mornings (probably out of Rockland launch) (...if my back holds up - first time touching my boat or a fishing rod in a month!).
