Hi Folks,

I will be taking the family up to Lake Kipawa to stay at one of Miwapanee Lodge's outpost cottages mid-August.  We will be targeting pike and walleye.  In order to avoid the "Papa, are there actually fish in this lake?!" comments from my teenage daughters I am hoping you guys can give me tips on where in that part of the lake I should go. As well as any specific gear (lures, jigs, plastics etc) I should have.  We will be renting a boat from the lodge for the week. I assume it will be a small 14' with an outboard to match.

Thank you in advance. :)

I CAN'T HELP YOU BUT, YOU SHOULD HAVE POSTED THIS IN THE FISHING DISCUSSION, NOT THE FISHING REPORTS FORUMS

Welcome to the board. I don't fish that area of the lake, but some do and may be able to help you. Good luck on your trip. My son and I leave at 4 AM for Taggart Bay Outpost.

WOW - A TAD HARSH!!

TBIRD
That is the whole problem with the internet.
I may have come across harsh ( which I do apologize) but I was only trying to let him know that he would get a better response if his thread was posted on the proper forum.

Hi Folks,

I appreciate the responses.   No offense taken.  I move the thread to the fishing forum.  :)
