Food is bought, car is packed, just load the cooler in the morning and my son and I are off at 5:00 AM. Can't wait to get there. The weather looks good for the boat ride to the cabin. We're buying our leeches at the Sportsman store in Temiscaming. Hope they're nice. (can a leech be nice???) I'll post a report when we get back.

What's your estimated time of arrival at TBL? I looked at the weather forecast and winds are forecast to be out of the SW for the first 5 days of your trip - that ought to be great for fishing!

Hi Jay. We should be at the cabin and set up by 4:00. Even if we just catch a few it doesn't really matter. I can't wait for the views and solitude of the outpost.
Jon and I will hike the paths, fish the pike lake, and go see "our" eagles. What could be better!!! Gary.
