Hello all, I 've been among the missing here on & off for a while, since having recently lost my father. On a much happier note, I am less than 2 weeks away from a much anticipated return to one of my favorite places on earth "Kipawa" Can't wait! Same crew as last year, both my son-in-laws and my two grandsons. Its a new era for me, since this will be my first trip going anywhere beside Alwaki. We will sure miss the people & the place.

So, my question is related to all that who-ha. We will be staying at the Miwapanee Lodge Outpost on Dead Bear Bay. I have only jigged their once and trolled for Lakers. Can anyone give me any intel on fishing DBBay? We are still very close to all our regular spots, but have not really ever fished DBB and since were there, I'd like to give it a go. Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks T, I was lucky and had him until he was nearly 85.

I should have been more specific on the intel I am looking for. I primarily only wish/like to jig for eyes while at Kipawa, so wondering if there are any key structure I should know about.

I have never fished that part of the lake.  So I can not help you there.

@Erin
Can you help this fellow out?

Sorry I missed this Hodgey. Dead Bear Bay isn't too far off from our place, always good fishing out front which is close to Alwaki.
I hope you are having a great time so far
