Transporting poles & Reels

I have been tearing down my 4 poles that  I take to Canada every year. I wrap the reels in cloth and put into a crush safe container, as well as wrapping the poles individually with old T-shirts and transporting them in a rod tube all bundled together as one. My question is, can I just shove them in my rod locker in my Lund boat and call it a day? The effort and time tearing them all down, putting them all together, and then having to redo the entire process to leave is a lot of extra work. Does anyone just leave their rods and reels whole with line on them and transport them 500 miles in the rod locker? Or if you have some other method that is simpler than what I do let me know what it is please. Growing tired of some of the extra work it takes and wanting to simplify things where I can. Of course I don't want frayed lines, broken poles & bent bails, but............

Absolutely just put in the road locker.

If I am on a fly in. I take all rods and reels apart as you.

Do not feel it is necessary when taking my boat.

The rods and reels should be fine in the rod lockers.

Smoother ride on the trip up than pounding chop on the water, rod locker is fine.

I bought myself a bunch of rod sleeves and store my rods in my rod locker all season.
they are safe from damage in there
