I am hoping someone on this forum can tell me if Kipawa Lake is on the Navionics App available on the Apple App Store.  It's not on my Garmin, it only has US lakes.

Thanks

RickOnt

Kipawa is on the Navionics card/chip

I asume it is on the app

I bought two new Garmin units last Christmas and for some reason they had U.S. and Alaska mapping on them even though I bought them in Canada.
Those mapps stopped half way through Lake Nippissing .
I had to buy the Navionic NSUS012R card for eastern Canada.
Now I have Kipawa on it.

But to answer your question, the Navionics from the APP store does have Kipawa also.

Saying thank you to the responses regarding Kipawa on Navionics app.  I primarily target SMB so I don't spend a lot of time on my electronics.  Last year at TBL, we had a guide one day who took us quite always down the lake to fish for walleye (my skill level for this fish really sucks).  So I learned a few things about walleye fishing and will spend some a little time trying get a few for dinner.  As a by-product of bass fishing, I usually get a few NP on my flyrod but do not spend a lot time targeting them.  NP requires a heavier rod and bigger flies and becomes tiring very quickly.  I am considering bringing a heavier flyrod to possibly target NP.

Anyway, thanks for the responses.

This is great, looking to do an upgrade of electronics on the boat

If you're buying new Garmin units, check the side of the box to see what mapping is included.

Just as a FYI, no matter what maps brands you use, the bathymetric portion showing depth contours are all highly inaccurate in my experience. Ive had Garmin and now Lowrance. Both thankfully have/had the ability to create their own contours which is super accurate and useful.
