For those familiar with the TBL arm of the lake, I'm curious if there is a good, well-known, spots to beach the boats and do a shore lunch?
I'd like to give this a shot on kipawa in 2015 as we haven't done it since 2009 on our trip.

thank you for your suggestions in advance.

There is a place called Picnic Island just outside the narrows that has a dock to tie up to and a outhouse , and tables should be all you need !!

I believe the island M Eschborn is talking about is located in Loon Bay not far from Two Moon Camp, bout 15-20 minutes from TBL .

Hi Dog, there's a small island in Hidden Bay that could work too. It would be more private than Picnic Island. Also, there is an Island a short ways from the Narrows that would work well. Years ago we  saw a group of young women canoers  camping there. We now call the island Fantasy Island!!!!!!! It's on the right hand side before you get to the red flag marking a rock. Oarin.
