anyone ever been here or know anyone who has?  Just curious... seems to be related to TBL somehow as there is a link to it from the TBL page, which got me curious...

I emailed the owner and he said the lodge is on the quebec side of the lake (zone 25) but both sides can be fished and the regulations apply for the license you have.

Hi Dog, I'm pretty sure Yves owns both TBL and Holden. The cabin designs at Holden are much like the newer cabins at TBL. Really nice cabins. I know one group who were mainly pike fishermen that said they had pretty good luck there. Don't know much else about it though. Oarin.

Yves owns HLL. HLL is basically located on an island on the Ottawa river. The "lake" is created by two dams. I'm not sure but I think they are flow control dams. I talked to a TBL customer who went there last year and said the fishing was good. It is located just north of Rolphton.

ok guys thanks!
so I guess it wasn't the owner I emailed with, it was Alain Trudel who responded to my emails. Not sure who that is...

I think Yves is mainly at TBL. He must have someone in charge of Holden for him. You could email Yves through the TBL website. Maybe Holden will be at some of the sportsmen shows. Yves would know. Man, this winter is dragging!!  Oarin

@Dog - you say you were emailing Alain Trudel, wonder if he is any relation to George Trudel who owned Smith Bay Camp.  George has since passed away, he was a real gentleman who ran a #1 rated camp, who was also a brother in-law to Jerry Bouthillette, Ghislaine's brother.
