Sorry everyone but I was getting so excited in my last response I was running out of space. Now as Paul Harvey use to say, "And Now For The Rest Of The Story )
Check out these coordinates. My Kipawa map does a good job of showing me potential spots but like my GPS warns,"Don't always believe what you are seeing and navigating too" What I am scouting or looking for night fishing is, 3-5 foot shouls, flats or narrows,
rocks, rocks rocks (Concentrated fishing ares, not wide open waters) Think spawning grounds. Don't be afraid of losing plugs. Don't after plugs until the bite is off or better yet go back the next day.
Check these spots out? Remember In have never fished your bend of the lake and my map and GPS may not be accurate.
One of the most recent posts on the forum was "what was your Xmas fishing gift" I would encourage everyone to purchasing an extra power cord for by our particular GPS?fish finder as well a Navionics chip ($150) for your unit. My lowrance units takes the Central Quebec mapping. Call Navionics and speak with someone telling them you want charts for Kipawa lake. They may tell you that they have a gold, platinum or "___" disks ? Understand that Kipawa lake DOES NOT have priority up grades as bother major lakes in Canada and simply as the sales rep. what to buy. He/she will instruct you to look tab their web sight Navionics.com and instruct you to
try out the mapping before buying. Cant beat that. Canadian purchased units have the Canadian free mappings. I am not sure but perhaps we Lowrance Users could call Lowrance asking if they have a disk for our US purchased models? Realize also that all models provide some detailing but this is very very basic. If its important to you then you should do the research.

IN GENERAL I DO NOT FISH LATER THAN 10 PM, LIKE TO SPEND SOME TIME SETTING AROUND THE CAMP FIRE AND DOWN A FEW COLD ONES. I LIKE TO GET ON THE WATER AS EARLY, THAT BEING SAID I NEVER GET ALL THE TIME IN THE BOAT THAT I LIKE TO HAVE.
