Since my wife has took a liking to my favorite jigging rod and reel,I got a new Shakespear light/medium grafite rod with a matched 5 ball bearing reel, pretty nice ! Also an assortment of different colored and weight jigs.(getting the tackle box ready) Lastly a new T-shirt with the question"Where you going fishing?Duh,where the fish are !" Santa must have though I was a good boy. What about you?

I must of been a real good boy, I got a paid trip to Ogas for a week.  I figure it can't get any better than that unless it was for 2 weeks ;D ;D which it may be!  July 4 till the 11th and Aug 1 till the 8th.  OHBOY am I a happy camper ::).  Oh yea and Nancy too.
Anyone else going to be there (Ogas) those weeks?

@getthenet, I guess the front half. I was going to side right half, but do not want my fishing buddy limiting me to which half I can fish out of.   ;)

Just a gift card from the liquor store lol. Buying myself a nice jigging rod, Daddy needs more walleye with some more cards from my kids. :) :)

Got a new medium action rod and spinning reel combo and a $50.00 "coupon" to go shopping for "fishing stuff".....thinking about a new tackle box.  Any suggestions?

I have a spiderwire tackle bag and I love it, although since getting it I've outgrown it so unless you're some sort of rare fisherman that never buys more tackle, my only advice would be to get a larger one than you need so you don't outgrow it as fast as I did.

I only fish out of my boat. I have a huge Plano tack box, as well as about 4 or 5 tackle trays. Including 1 for down rigging on Georgian Bay. BUT!!!!! I only use about 5 or 6 cranks and jigs. Ya gotta love fishing! ;) :)

I must have been a naughty boy, because Santa didn't bring me anything fishing related.
But what I did get was a major repair overhaul job from a surgeon to make me into a new "lean, mean $60,000 bionic fishermanan".
Now if all that slice and dice could just get me to catch fish...

Oops, I just got more bills;  make that a"lean mean quarter million dollar bionic fisherman"

@NortonJoe you got me thinking about my next tackle box and I've decided to use a plastic milk crate and just put all my plano boxes in there.. reason being is it's easily expandable  by simply adding more plan boxes when I undoubtedly buy more tackle I'll never use :-) it also keeps me from having to switch crap around every time I fish out of the canoe as a milk crate is perfect for the canoe to hold tackle easily accessible within arms reach.
