For the rest of y'all  that are wondering what we're talking about, RnR is going to be the name of my new boat.  RnR stands for "Recreation In Retirement" , and has been ordered, the count is approximate for the expected delivery date.

6 Weeks and counting . Our Coca Cola group from the Hammer will be gathering at my house on Friday evening to crack a few beers ,share a few fish tales  and sort out the details (who is bringing what meals etc ,how much beer do we need ,do we need more eggs etc etc ) for our 18th year at 3 Seasons Camp .Each member dreaming of seeing his name inscribed as they proudly hoist the elusive "Spring Classic Invitational " trophy

Well it's sixteen days until departure and I always get that feeling like a kid waiting for Christmas!  Running out tonight to get those last few things I need for the tackle box...new fishing line ( I have at least ten partial rolls, but its all old), need some snap swivels, and I'll probably see a few more things I simply can't do without.  A week from tomorrow its a golf game and then we are doing our grocery shopping.  I've been gathering all my gear and supplies into one area in the garage and will need to start packing it in the plastic totes for the trip north.  There are only three of us going this year (we've had anywhere from two to ten) but its going to be a great trip!  I have a new video camera because I have a sinking feeling this may be the last trip to this particular camp (but not to the Kipawa area.)  Time marches on, but for the rest of July its about this trip this year!  Maybe I'll see some of you in Temiscaming getting beer and fishing license on July 25!

Walleye Ray

Hey Joe, As a Watson regular, Been awaiting a Trip report.....Please.
Planning to go back either in mid-September or early June next year.
How's Andy's health holding up. Regards, Ray Nicholls

@Walleye Ray, Andy was doing pretty well when we were in camp at the end of July.  He is still receiving treatments regularly.  However, if I understood correctly, his cancer may have spread so I don't know that bodes well long term.  They are planning on opening next year (you can't keep a good man down).  Nor do I know what Gladys' plan would be for the camp should something happen to Andy.  Let me know if you plan to go up this September...oh and I did finally post a trip report.
