Sorry for the delay, but I'm hoping all our northern family members had an enjoyable long (Victoria ? ) weekend.

RHYBAK

Thank you.
I did.
I finally made it up to the cottage. Turned on all the water, got my boat in, caught 6 and lost 5 Lake Trout.
I still have it.
Haven't lost my touch over the winter.
Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle

Yup same as Rye. Bots in the water. Docks in place. Man that waters cold. Even finished the screens for the porch. I know have a fully screened in porch to keep the bugs out. Had little time for fishing but it's gonna be a long summer. Cheers guys. Here we go again. Free rye in shot glasses for whoever drops by.
Days spent fishing don't count against life :)

Puckster, post some updated pictures of you cabin. It sounds like it's really coming together.

Ahh, shots of rye.

I may want to just move in, at least for the warmer part of the year. ;D

Getting there. Getting more work done outside then in. I'm going up on Thursday to feed the blackflies. While I'm there I'm gonna hook up with the contractor that built the place. I'm gonna get him to set up the solar system and get the place wired and the plumbing installed. I'll insulate and install the panelling myself. Good thing my friends will work for beer. And BBQ lol  So by the fall I should have the interior mostly done. Next year siding and hopefully a deck in front. We're getting there. Planning retirement in 3 years wanna git'er done by then
