RHYBAK

Well now, it's not Kipawa related ,but it is a fishing trip report.
The other day I figured I would take a mid week vacation and join some of my long time fishing buddies at the Bighead River in Meaford Ontarion.
I left work at 1;45 ON Tuesday and had my line in the water by4:30.
My first drift didn't even last 10 feet and my float was down.
I fought a very acrobatic Rainbow for a good 5 minutes before it decided enough was enough and it snapped my line.
This was repeated for the next 4 drifts.
Every fish snapping my 4 pound leader.
Oh well. It's called fishing, not catching.

The next morning repeated the prior days events with my first drift again.
So be it.
Finally around 7:30 ,Steve and I were at different spots on the late and both of us landed a fish at the same time.
Time was getting close for me to go home but the four of us ended up landing a nice stringer of trout.
Two of us went home and the other two stayed to sting more fish.
A great day to get out of the office.

Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle

600 miles north

sounds like a great couple days and a real nice stringer! Thanks for sharing. I've added this to the trip report index as well.
