For the past three years I've been using 100% fluoro and I'm thinking of switching back to mono... Anyone have any other suggestions?

I usually have one rig set up for jigging and one set up for a trolling/ casting with a crankbait? Should I use different type lines on each rig?

For jigging,I use a Braid called Samurai.
It's very thin and great for casting .
I tip it with 1.5 feet of fluorocarbon.
I feel the braid lets you feel the slight bites better and the leader gives it the invisibility and the snap off capability.
Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle

I would stick with the fluoro on your jigging pole.  It will transmit the slightest bump to your pole, much better than mono.  With the light bite of the eyes I need all the help I can get.

Smile, every one will wonder what you have been up to.

We use 4lb. Fireline smoke, no leader on our jig rods.
8lb. Crystal with 6-8lb flouro leader on slip bobber rods
10 or 12lb Braid with 10-12lb flouro on casting or trolling rods
12lb stainless steel wire with 17lb mono leader on Lake Trout rods
