Well today WOULD be the day we start our trip to Kip and 3 seasons however we decided to take a break for other pursuits.  We did have a great trip to FL in the winter and had great fishing on the Gulf of Mexico flats for 6 weeks and now concentrating on some needed Home improvements for the summer.  Doing a lot of daydreaming and reminiscing about our past trips and the trip reports (seem slow coming in this year) take us back in our minds to the weeks spent in paradise.  Good luck to all the lucky ones who are taking the trip up and hopefully I can talk the wife into a trip back in the future years or hook up with another gang that needs a extra fisherman for their boat.

Wow, what a coincidence.

I just texted Reggie asking him if you were going to be in camp this week.
How the heck am I going to know where to fish next week now?

Sorry to hear that you skipped this year.

I am sure you will have no problem finding them and Reggie will show you the way.  Definitely envious of you and when I get up in the future would like to come a week later (the week you are there).  Like your new ride!  Deb and I both are slowing down as the years go by so if I can talk her into the trip again we probably need to take our boat (Lund 1800 Fisherman Adventurer) just for the sheer comfort!  Look forward to your report.

I'm surprised you never brought a boat like that with you????
Take care and I am planning to book the same time next year.

Couldn't imagine taking a year off, but I get how it can happen.

And Rhybak...c'mon...you know where the fish are going to be. If not, better get back to school....  ;D

Sorry to hear that JLG .I too am having to take a year off after 19 at 3 Seasons and 28 with my fishing brothers .My eldest son Michael (joined our group for 4 years at 3 Seasons ) graduates  with a Bachelor of Science from Mcmaster University with Deans Honors in Biology and a minor in Geographical Information Systems on June 15th . 1 of 80 students out of possible 22,000 who had a 95% or higher standing .I will be a very very proud single Dad on that day but will miss my little piece of Kipawa heaven just the same . Good luck to  all who manage to get out
