Whitefish are around if you target them, catfish (although small) have moved in, the odd sucker here and there, along with the odd crappie.  Ling (someone might refer to as burbot) are very good (just like whitefish).

There are smaller lakes that hold speckles but doubt you will find anyone willing to disclose where that is.

I'm really intrigued by catching a ling (burbot).  What is the method used if you are actually targeting them?  I've read that they are good to eat. Has anyone ever eaten them?
