Hi All,

So one thing I do when I compete with my dogs is keep track of where vets are in case of emergencies, high energy dogs tend to be clumsy LOL!

I'm probably cursing myself for next week but does anybody know the closest vet to Kipawa Village Area, we are staying at Alwaki?

There are no vet hospitals near lake Kipawa. You would have to go to North Bay.
Do a Google search for "vets in North Bay, Ontario". You'll get a list.
Keep in mind that if it's after hours, they are assigned a night for emergencies on a rotational basis.
Each vet will tell a caller on their answering machine which one to go to depending on the night.

It happened to us a couple months ago. My vet couldn't take us but the "on call" one did.
It's $200 milkbones as soon as you walk in the door.

We had an emergency with one of our dogs, ran him to North Bay, Cassell's Animal Hospital. These folks were incredible and I highly recommend. Even came in after hours and lance the dog. Had infection that got ugly.
