hello everyone! I'm visiting family who have a cottage on Hunter lake near trout bay. I mostly target walleye but will try for other species as well. Any tips for tackle or spots that are good? Any dangerous spots where I could damage the boat prop? Thanks in advance.

The only spots up that was that I have noticed and I don't go that far to often is the narrows right before entering hunters lake and if you decide to take a tour up through turtle dam.  Lake trout can be caught in lac hunter, I usually fish them out in front of trout bay up to the island.  If you have a GPS on your boat they are extremely accurate for depths.  Good luck and enjoy.  There are lots of guys on the site that have been up past Kipawa lodge that will help out today.
