Lake Lowering

Lake is down some 18 inches,

18 inches... wow.... I have never seen the water level like that or the lake at this time of year.  One very dry summer about 5 years ago, the level was down considerably.

I wonder if that would mean the chute (heading up to turtle island) would be impassable (by boat) and it would be nothing but rocks?

I'm at camp now and the lake is up almost a foot since about 2 weeks ago. My dock is floating again.
